Research School ICO

On this website you will find information on ICO, The Interuniversity Centre for Educational Sciences (In Dutch 'Interuniversitair Centrum voor Onderwijswetenschappen' and therefore abbreviated to 'ICO'). ICO is a Dutch research school in the domain of education and was established in 1988 as a partnership between the universities of Twente and Groningen with the aim of offering advanced courses to its PhD candidates. This collaboration was soon expanded to include research. At the moment educational institutes of thirteen Dutch and Belgium universities participate in ICO.

The 'ICO Toogdagen' is a biennial, two-day networking event of the Research School ICO. The 2011 edition included an inspiring keynote presented by ICO member Dr. Halszka Jarodzka (CELSTEC/OU), two workshops, a tasteful buffet at the Evening Event, and as main course 34 PhD's presenting their work.

Last Additon to ICO Journal List

30-12-11 Nieuwsbericht
For the last time journals have been added to the ICO Journal List. As from January 2012, the ICO Journal List will no longer be extended. For the time period 2012-2017 the list will be preserved and maintained. For that period (aspirant) ICO members can refer to articles published in journals on the ICO list. As from now ICO members will be encouraged to publish as much as possible in (S)SCI journals.
