Programma

Het onderzoek van de vakgroep Organisatie is gepositioneerd binnen het facultaire onderzoeksprogramma Learning and Innovation in Resilient systems, gaat over 'duurzaam ontwikkelen en veranderen in organisaties' en bestrijkt de volgende thema's:

  • De bijdrage van organisaties aan duurzame inzetbaarheid van (weerbare) medewerkers. Het ontwikkelen van duurzamer beleid in en van organisaties.
  • Leren en ontwikkeling in en van organisaties en de bijdrage daarvan aan relevante uitkomsten op het gebied van productiviteit, innovatie en weerbaarheid (resilience).
  • Management van veranderingen in organisaties, waarbij meerdere (post)moderne benaderingen worden gehanteerd, zoals het complexiteitsperspectief.
  • Onderzoek in de Zorgsector. Dit thema vormt een aparte focus en samenwerking met de andere vakgroepen binnen de faculteit.

Het onderzoek wordt uitgevoerd in (inter)nationale samenwerkingsverbanden met collega's aan andere onderzoeksinstituten en universiteiten, maar ook met partijen uit het werkveld.

Where does it come from, where does it go? A systematic review of Sustainable HRM as contemporary phenomenon

Deze studie verzamelt de bevindingen van meer dan 150 wetenschappelijke artikelen over duurzaam HRM. De voorlopige resultaten geven een overzicht van het huidige onderzoeksveld op dit gebied en benadrukken enkele boeiende trends ter verdere analyse.  
 
Using inter-organisational networks to foster worker’s sustainable employability
Sarah Courchesne , Dave Stynen, Judith Semeijn & Marjolein Caniëls
Deze studie onderzoekt hoe werkgeversnetwerken kunnen bijdragen aan de duurzame inzetbaarheid van hun leden. Daarbij wordt gekeken naar de rol van vertrouwen binnen het netwerk en de kwaliteit van de relatie tussen medewerkers en leidinggevenden.

Managing procrastination and team performance: Examining the synergy between formal and informal performance management processes

Deze studie concludeert dat traditioneel performance management niet erg effectief is en dat het beter kan worden aangevuld met regelmatige informele feedbackuitwisseling tussen medewerkers en leidinggevenden. Dit leidt tot een synergie die verband houdt met minder uitstelgedrag bij medewerkers en betere prestaties van de teams waartoe ze behoren.

Can I-deals Engage Employees by Alleviating Job Insecurity and Overqualification Concerns

Medewerkers ervaren meer bevlogenheid door i-deals. Dit kan verklaard worden doordat i-deals nuttig zijn als (1) signaal dat je baan geen gevaar loopt of (2) omdat ze helpen te compenseren voor iets dat je tekortkomt op het werk.
