Expertise

I am biologist above all, but also crofter, author and still a little bit teacher. I like to talk on all these topics. My new book (written in Dutch for a wide audience) 'Darwins Dating Show' has recently been published. Not quite independent of it, I resumed - after 20 years - to participate in scientific research. Together with ecologists from Groningen University and distiguished amateur ornithologists I am working now on a number of publications on ruffs and tundra plovers.
