The OpenEU Democracy Festival is looking for you!
OpenEU is organising the first OpenEU Festival from 23 to 25 October 2026. The OpenEU Democracy Festival is a three-day online festival that explores democracy not as an abstract ideal, but as a living, breathing, sometimes messy human practice. Organised by the OpenEU Student Council — which brings together ten European universities and thousands of students from across Europe — this is a place to celebrate, challenge and take democracy seriously.
We are looking for volunteers to help make this festival a great success. You will be given real responsibilities before, during and after the festival, working directly with the organisation’s core team. A good proficiency of the English language is important. As a volunteer, you can contribute in various ways, for example as a technical support person, discussion moderator, graphic designer, in entertainment or communications.
