Summer School LL.B.
The EDELNet Partnership is delighted to announce that we are inviting applications to the upcoming annual EDELNet LL.B. Summer School 2024. The Summerschool starts with an online preparatory phase and culminates in a studyweek in Madrid, from 17 to 21 June 2024.
As in previous years, 30 students from the FernUniversität Hagen (Germany), the Open Universiteit (Netherlands), UNED (Spain), Open University (UK) and University of Wrocław (Poland) will meet at a wonderful location in the EU and have the opportunity to work together in a series of activating seminars and simulations designed to offer a high quality learning experience and gain insight into legislative processes, rule of law operations and other vital aspects of legal systems in liberal democracies. In addition, participants will get a valuable chance to have a meaningful exchange with students and instructors from other European jurisdictions in an institutionally supportive and intellectually challenging environment.
The programme begins with an online preparatory phase at the end of April during which participants are expected to take a few short online courses. In the course of the programme, you will be trained in legal matters, soft skills such as academic debate, legal English, intercultural communication and team work.
- Successful applicants are expected to be registered as LLB students at one of the organizing institutions and have a good command of English.
- Participants are expected to plan and finance their own travel arrangements.
- Deadline for enrollment: 1 March 2024
Should you have any questions about the programme please get in touch with your institution’s contact person: Carla Zoethout.

In addition, participants will get a valuable chance to have a meaningful exchange with students and instructors from other European jurisdictions in an institutionally supportive and intellectually challenging environment.
