The article The jingle-jangle of work–non work balance: A comprehensive and meta-analytic review of its meaning and measurement which was co-written by Dr. Sara de Hauw, assistant professor at the Faculty Management, Science and Technology has been selected as one of five papers iin the shortlist for the 2019 Rosabeth Moss Kanter Award for Excellence in Work-Family Research. Rosabeth Moss Kanter Award for Excellence in Work-Family Research

The Rosabeth Moss Kanter Award for Excellence in Work-Family Research is a partnership of the Center for Families at Purdue University, the Center for Work and Family at Boston College, and the Alliance of Work-Life Progress. The award raises awareness of high quality work-family research among the scholar, consultant, and practitioner communities. The award is named for Rosabeth Moss Kanter, who leading scholars have identified as the person with the most influence on modern work and family research literature.

Over Rosabeth Moss Kanter

Rosabeth Moss Kanter is the Ernest L. Arbuckle Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, specializing in strategy, innovation, and leadership for change. She advises major corporations and governments worldwide, and is the author or co-author of 16 books such as Men & Women of the Corporation, The Change Masters, When Giants Learn to Dance, World Class: Thriving Locally in the Global Economy, and Rosabeth Moss Kanter on the Frontiers of Management.

Sara de Hauw

Dr. Sara de Hauw s an assistant professor at the Open Universiteit in the Netherlands. At the Open Universiteit, she is involved in several teaching activities within the broad domain of strategic HRM, both for Master students as well as HR-professionals. Next to teaching, she is also actively involved in the faculty’s research community Her current research passions lie in the field of work-life balance, well-being, generations and careers with publications in the International Journal of HRM, the Journal of Vocational Behavior and the Journal of Business and Psychology.
