Judith Sanderse about the initiative
Judith Sanderse, finance manager of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom: 'After the 2019 conference, the conference organizers launched a call for proposals for new tracks for EURAM 2020, For the first time there is a track on 'Business Models of Non-profit Organizations' at a EURAM conference'.
The growing importance of non-profit organizations (NPOs) in modern society has led to an increase in scholarly attention to the non-profit sector, particularly in the social and political sciences. Despite numerous studies on the non-profit sector, few have focused on the business model of these organizations. Research in business model literature remains focused primarily on the for-profit sector, with only in ancillary attention paid to the unique characteristics and issues faced by non-profit entities.
The purpose of this track is to discuss about the issues of the business models of NPOs. 'I and my co-organizer look forward to receiving your submission'. Paper submission is open till 14 January 2020 (2pm CET).
