Social safety and integrity
The Open Universiteit aims to provide innovative, flexible, academic education for everyone, regardless of background or location. To be able to do this, a safe working and study environment is needed, where employees, students and visitors of the university treat each other respectfully.
The General Code of Conduct and all related regulations are guiding for this. The Code of Conduct applies to all behavior that takes place at the Open Universiteit, and to behavior that takes place online or off campus in the context of work or study.
Not everything can be caught in rules. Collaboration is usually good, but sometimes requires effort. Keep talking to each other. In this way we ensure a safe, respectful and inspiring environment.
Do you experience or signal undesirable behavior? Doing nothing is not an option. Take action if you have to deal with unwanted behavior yourself, or if you see it happening to others.
