If you don't know how to deal with this, a conversation with one of the confidential counsellors can be the beginning for a solution to the problem. The confidential advisor listens to your story, has a good knowledge of the organization and can paint a clear picture of your situation in relation to the Open Universiteit. Together with the confidant you can see what the best possibilities are to get out of the situation. This can be by making contact with others who can help you further if necessary. But also by possibly establishing a conversation with the person in question. It is clear that all conversations are held in confidence.

If you need more information, you can contact one of the confidential counsellors via the contact point, but also directly, via e-mail address vertrouwenspersonen.oomgang@ou.nl. Please indicate in this e-mail how (by telephone or e-mail) you would like to contact us and when it suits you best. The confidential counsellor will then contact you as soon as possible. This can take one to two working days.
The confidential counsellor is not intended for acute emergencies. If you are in an emergency, please contact your doctor or an emergency service via 112.
