Discuss your case at a scientific conference
EAPRIL is an international conference where researchers and practitioners meet. At their yearly conference practitioners are invited to present their case and discuss it with the other EAPRIL participants The conference takes place from 29 November until 1 December 2017 in Hämeenlinna, Finland. This year’s theme is: Inspired by the visions of future education and learning.

Interactive

The conferences of EAPRIL (European Association for Practitioner Research on Improving Learning) explicitly aim to connect research and practice. The conferences are visited by researchers (for example from the Welten Institute) as practitioners. The conference has a very interactive setup with workshops, roundtable discussions, speed dating sessions etc. Therefore it can be regarded as a professionalization activity for teachers and other professionals in education.

Present your case

An interesting new format is the Case Study. Practitioners are invited to present a case from practice while paying attention to the factors which have made it successful as well as identifying the bottlenecks and challenges. Afterwards, an in-depth discussion about the case takes place. Deadline for submissions (abstracts) is 10 May 2017.

You’ll find more information on the conference site.
