Symposia on Learning and Innovation in Resilient Systems
In the face of challenges such as climate change, cyber crime and globalization of the economy, a very pressing question is how resilient, but also how flexible our social, technical and organizational systems are. The LIRS programme organized two symposia. The aim of the 2017 symposium was to shed light on related topics from diverse scientific vantage points and to identify a transdicsiplinary research agenda for the future. The 2019 conference integrated diverse perspectis on the issue.
2019 conference
The second edition of the Learning and Innovation in Resilient Systems (LIRS) symposium was held from 24-25 October 2019 in Heerlen, the Netherlands. The LIRS symposium integrated diverse perspectives from multiple disciplines, such as management, environmental science, psychology, and computer science to address some of today’s modern global challenges.
