The faculty Educational Sciences aims to further education by supporting it with innovation and professionalization. This is only possible if there is a close connection with the educational field.

Collaboration with the field provides such a connection, but the faculty Educational Sciences itself is also active in education and thus gains hands-on firsthand experiences in education. The faculty develops and offers a fully accredited master Learning Sciences, but also (mostly free) masterclasses, webinars and MOOCs in which we make our expertise available to everybody who is interested. Thus we want to contribute to the professionalization of the educational field not only through our research but also through our educational activities.
