The faculty Educational Sciences offers a master programme Educational sciences. The researchers of the faculty contribute to the development and maintenance of courses in their field of expertise and they supervise master students in their master thesis research. The main language of the master programme is Dutch.

Academic teacher training

The faculty Educational Sciences offers in collaboration with five professional teacher training schools an academic teacher training programme: students of these teacher training schools can follow a minor during their studies that - on completion - gives direct access to the academic master Educational Sciences. Thus the Open Universiteit contributes to the national policy that aims at rainsing the qualifications of teachers.
