Dies Natalis 2018 and transfer of rectorship
On Friday 14 December, 2018 the celebration of the 34th Dies Natalis and the transfer of rectorship took place at the Open University of the Netherlands. The theme of the Dies Natalis was transition. The speakers were: Professor Ada Pellert, Rector FernUniversität Hagen; Professor Anja Oskamp, Rector Open University of the Netherlands; and Professor Nele Jacobs, Professor of Lifespan Psychology, Open University of the Netherlands. The three speakers elaborated the theme of transition from their own perspective.
During the celebration of the Dies Natalis, the Rector presented the OU Research Award for the best dissertation. The celebration and transfer of rectorship took place in Theater Heerlen.
