The language of alle educational programmes is Dutch.

Research in the field of humanities
The research policy of the Faculty of Humanities focuses on the research programme Waarde en waardering van cultuur (Value and valuation of culture). This programme, established in 2015, brings together all the research of the faculty organized in a few themes. The PhD research within the faculty also takes places within this programme.

The Faculty also participates in an OU-wide multidisciplinary research program: Safety in Urban Environments, which started in 2018.
