Faculty of Science Research

The faculty is home to an exciting mix of computer scientists, information scientists, and environmental scientists who jointly strive to make an impact on the digital society and to address several major societal challenges. For example, in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as formulated by the United Nations, our research focuses, among others, on the goals of high-quality education, climate action, and industrial innovation and infrastructure.

Institution-wide Multidisciplinary Research

In addition to the disciplinary research programs, the Faculty of Science also contributes to the multidisciplinary research program 'Innovating for Resilience' of the Open University, particularly to the research lines Learning and Innovation in Resilient Systems and The Safe City.
