In the construction industry it is quite common for good apprentices and, tradesmen to be promoted within their workplace to managerial position, yet they often lack the soft skills - namely teamwork, leadership, communication and problem solving- required for such positions.

Four interactive courses

This project has created four interactive courses related to the most commonly needed soft skills in the work environment, specifically targeting the construction industry. The courses can be used in both in a formal learning setting or by individuals in their own time. The aim is to help enhance interpersonal skills. Those interested can try any of the scenarios to assess and develop his or her soft skills.

The short training videos and materials are available in English, German, Spanish, Italian and Slovenian.
