The Department of Computer Science of the Open University offers academic studies in Computer Sciences at bachelor and master levels, as well as professional programs for post-initial studies. Research
The research programme of the department aims (broadly stated) to improve computing's effects upon society. The research of the department of Computer Science is executed in the context of the multidisciplinary research programmes of the OU, specifically within the Learning and Innovation in Resilient Systems (LIRS) programme.
